Costanza Longanesi Cattani has been serving as a Project Manager | Exhibition Specialist since 2020 in Venice, where she specializes in the production of art exhibitions. She holds a degree in Economics and Management for Arts, Culture, and Communication from Bocconi University, Milan and further refined her expertise with a Postgraduate Degree in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.

 

Art is the unifying thread of her career, which began with impactful experiences at renowned institutions, including the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Gagosian Gallery, and Christie’s auction house in London. Upon returning to her hometown of Venice in 2020, she launched a rewarding career in exhibition production for the Venice Biennale. Her keen artistic sensibility lies at the heart of her consulting approach, enabling her to passionately support important contemporary art museums, art foundations, government agencies, ministries, and private galleries in realizing their creative visions.

 

In Venice, Costanza lives in symbiosis with art, seeing the lagoon city as a hotbed of ideas and insights for the realization of cultural initiatives. When she is not bringing other people's ideas to life, in her free time, she dedicates herself to personal site– specific curatorial projects with emerging artists. For her, Venice embodies the perfect backdrop for enhancing international artistic initiatives, generating new meanings through a thoughtful juxtaposition with

the historical context. Costanza encompasses both a deep-rooted Venetian expertise—mastery of the city’s complex logistics, a network of trusted suppliers and professionals, and familiarity with local regulations and authorities—as well as an international upbringing and refined art background.
